ANSWERS
Questions about the payment of bills through the ebill service
-
Can I pay part of the amount due for a specific month?
No, you may only pay the total outstanding amount for bills of the last billing month or the total of that month plus any overdue amounts for previous months, if any.
You may settle the bills for all your services or any services you may choose.
-
What if I pay through ebill the amounts due for services that are payable through a bankers’ standing order (direct debit)?
Requests for payments (for bills with standing orders) are sent to the banking institutions at around the 18th of each month. If your payment through ebill is made before that
date then no request will be sent to your bank. If your payment through ebill is made after the request is sent to your bank,
then an overpayment will arise. The amount overpaid will be transferred as a prepayment against bills of the following month or it will be used to settle any amounts that may be due for other services you have with us.
-
Are there any additional charges imposed by Cyta for paying my bills through ebill?
Cyta offers the ebill service (including the payment of bills) without any charge to all its customers.
-
How can I make use of any prepayments shown under the Statement of Outstanding Balances?
Any prepayments you may have will be used to settle amounts due on bills of the same account for the following months. For any other arrangement, please visit any cytashop.
-
Can I have a list of the services settled through a bankers’ standing order (direct debit)?
You may obtain a list of all your services with details for those that are settled through a standing order, by selecting ‘Bills & Payments’

and then ‘Services payable by standing order’ appearing under the Statement of Outstanding Balances.

-
Although I have paid my bills through ebill, these are shown as still outstanding in the Statement of Outstanding Balances. Why?

To view these payments select ‘Bills & Payments’ then ‘Statement of Outstanding Balances & Payments’ and then click on ‘Payments through ebill not yet processed’.
-
If I make a payment for a service that has been disconnected (barring of calls) due to unpaid bills, will this service be reconnected?

For other services, reconnection shall take place within two working days. If the service has been terminated due to unpaid bills, please visit any cytashop.
